Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Foreman/Superintendent with a minimum of 5 years of experience to join our in-house team. The Construction Project Foreman/Superintendent will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of construction projects, including coordinating subcontractors, managing schedules, and ensuring quality and safety standards are met. This position is an internal position for Rice Pegher and thus you are dealing directly with the owners who are the decision makers on the project rather than with various individual clients.

We are looking for someone that is ambitious and ready to grow with our company. We have utilized 3rd party subcontractors in the past and are now committed to bringing construction capabilities inhouse. This position comes with significant ability for growth as we build out an internal construction department.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate construction projects from start to finish
• Manage subcontractors and ensure they are meeting project requirements
• Work alongside subcontractors to ensure the job gets done
• Obtain bids from subcontractors and suppliers
• Create and Manage project budgets and track expenses
• Develop and maintain project schedules
• Ensure compliance with building codes and safety regulations
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure quality standards are met
• Communicate with architects, and engineers to address project needs
• Provide leadership and direction to construction team members

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction
• Previous experience in a leadership role
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, tools, and materials
• In-depth knowledge of all construction trades
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to read blueprints and understand technical drawings
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Valid driver's license

Compensation:

• Salary: $65,000-$80,000 per year Bonuses
